Kira Crugnale is a Canadian-born photographer based in Chicago. Graduating with a BFA in Photography from the Toronto Metropolitan University School of Image Arts (2011), her work is defined by bold, intimate compositions that embrace imperfection and authenticity. Drawing thoughtfully on the interplay between materiality and memory, her photographs explore how light, surface, and detail shape our sense of place and emotion.

Alongside her editorial practice, she brings more than a decade of experience in advertising, having developed visual campaigns for a variety of food, beverage, and consumer packaged goods brands. Her commercial work builds on her editorial sensibility, crafting imagery that is visually engaging, thoughtfully composed, and carefully tailored to each unique assignment.
